Health Canada Needs Checks and Balances

After Bill C-51, Health Canada will be able to move the goalposts anywhere it likes. The standards of evidence, the burden of proof, the review process, the reviewers, enforcement, investigation - everything can be moved around and manipulated at Health Canada’s enhanced discretion. These powers have always been abused. Health Canada gets to make the rules, hires ringers’ as reviewers and then uses selected enforcement to punish or reward. The whole system is stage managed to ‘appear’ as formally correct but in practice it is rotten and corrupt. Bill C-51 will make sure that the regulation of natural ingredients by Health Canada will become just as debased as they have become for pharmaceutical medicaments what with the endemic payoffs, conflicts of interest, corruption, malpractice, bad ethics and outright lying that characterizes that field. And thanks to Bill C-51, Health Canada will have the means to subject Canadians to the additional restrictions against natural health products that derive from the Codex Alimentarius.

Consider How Bill C-51 Would Affect You:

* Many natural health products that have been sold in Canada for decades would become unavailable, and remaining products would cost much more (Sections 13 & 18.7);

* The government could designate any natural health product a prescription drug, making it available by prescription only (Section 15.1(4));

* You could be fined thousands of dollars or go to jail for giving your child or friend a natural health product (Sections 31 & 3(3) – expanded definition of “sell”);

* Researchers would lose academic freedom: they could not study the beneficial effects of natural health products without first getting the government’s permission (Sections 3(6) & 18.2);

* International laws that restrict access to natural health products could be made law in Canada without the approval of elected officials or any debate in the House of Commons (Sections 3(6) & 30(7));

* To enforce this new law, inspectors could enter private property and (Section 23):

o take anything at their discretion;

o never pay the owner for it;

o charge the owner of the property a fee for shipping it to a secure storage unit;

o charge the owner of the property fees for keeping it in storage;

o keep it in storage as long as they want;

and/or

o dispose of it at will.

International trade treaties are being used to advance the profits of corporations, against the interests of most other people. Bill C-51 will be another step towards enabling international regulations to control what kinds of vitamins and herbs Canadians can consume.

The relentless pressure of the people with the most money to campaign for their interests are setting in motion measures that will ensure they will make the greatest amount of profits, by making their products the preferred ones, while others are discriminated against.

There is a clear warning to Canadians that vitamin consumers globally may be effected by the European Food Safety Authority, combined with the European Commission, that will be unleashing the regulations from hell in January, 2009.

Those regulations from hell may make their way into Codex because the EU seems to politically dominate Codex.

Generally, "trade treaties" are for the benefit of investors to obtain profits through their corporations.

Overall, agribusiness is interested in profits, and the power to control culture to maximize profits for the owners of those businesses. It does not care about the health of consumers, nor any other aspect of the long-term future. The strategy of the agribusinesses and pharmaceutical companies etc. is to maximize short-term profits, regardless of any other consequences. Controlling people to benefit shareholders is their primary purpose. Some of the profit made has been systematically used to corrupt the political process, and every aspect of food and drug laws has been corrupted by that funding of the political process, driving vicious spirals of money and political power. Bill C-51 will be another step down that spiral staircase of political corruption taken by professional liars and immaculate hypocrites to actually accomplish the opposite of what they claim they are doing.

Step by step, all controls over foods and drugs are being directed to benefit the pyramidion people at the top of the social pyramid’s fascist plutocracy, while harming everyone else more and more. That fascist plutocracy already controls Canada, and Canada is already integrated as a small component of the global fascist plutocracy.

The worst restrictions anywhere tend to become
the worst restrictions applied everywhere else ...

There may be ’Maximum Safe Upper Levels’
that will be only slight multiples above RDA.

Vitamins may become less available & more expensive.

In a sense, cannabis laws are the most
extreme example of the overall patterns
of political facts demonstrated by Codex.

Unfortunately, there IS a real pattern.

Canada is NOT some genuinely
"free and democratic society."

Canada is a fascist plutocracy.

That is true everywhere one looks,
and the people who controlled all
of the governmental regulations
have a relentless agenda going.

that cannabis food was criminalized is the
most extreme example of general patterns.

The ways people live inside North American civilization
ARE controlled by triumphs of dishonesty, backed up
with violence, & EVERYTHING about how they live
has become integrated aspects of that evil whole.

The lifestyles of the vast majority of people
are due to triumphs of political corruptions.

The single best plant source
for protein and for oil is hemp.

However, hemp was made totally illegal for decades,
and hemp is still suffering from insane restrictions
applied against marijuana to limit growing hemp.

That fits inside of an overall pattern of agribusiness.

Some steps inside that cycle use food as a weapon,
since controlling the food controls people, while
controlling money then controls food & people.

Social facts that cultivating cannabis was criminalized
illustrate these overall patterns of political corruption
where a variety of natural alternatives have systematically
discredited and destroyed, in order to make sure that other
inferior products that could be patented, and monopolized,
were promoted, & given every possible advantage by the
biased systems of the governmental laws and regulations.

The pattern of government subsidies for food production
is an inverted pyramid, where the more healthy the food,
the less likely that kind of food is going to be subsidized.

while the less healthy any "food" may be
the more likely that is to be subsidized.

Prohibition of pot merely takes that trend
to the logical extreme in the Bizarro land.

The single best food for people was criminalized!

Lies and hypocrisy about "safety and public health"
where employed to justify all the legislation which
had mostly opposite effects upon the public health.

then return as more political corruption to

We treat food animals in immoral & inhumane ways.

Animals that we eat for food are now raised
in industrial production places, where they
are fed things which governments prop up.

Factory farms have destroyed family farms.

All together, we end up with very low quality animal food,

That entire system is getting sicker ...

Criminalization of cannabis
is the single worst example.

But, criminalizing chamomile,
and so on and so forth, is also
the agenda of the real system.

Governments have gotten away with
huge lies that marijuana was almost
as bad as murder, and therefore, all
cannabis cultivation was criminalized
for sixty years in Canada, and thereby
the single best food source became
unavailable, and is still now expensive,
and of inferior quality, due to it being
restricted by marijuana law madness.

IT ALREADY DID HAPPEN THAT
THE SINGLE BEST PLANT FOR
HUMAN FOOD WAS ILLEGAL!
